Fight IQ Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Pickem Predictions LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Pickem Predictions", "we," "us"), the publisher of the Fight IQ iOS application (the "App"), collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Pickem Predictions LLC is the data controller for that information. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to this Policy.

1. Who we are

Fight IQ is an iOS application that lets users make predictions on professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fights, compete in private leagues, track accuracy-based statistics, and earn in-app points and cosmetic rewards. Fight IQ is not a real-money gambling service. No wagers, purchases, or prizes of monetary value are offered.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account data: email address, display name, and password (email signup), or your Google account email and Google-issued profile token (Google sign-in).
  • Profile data: username, optional bio, optional avatar image, and belt rank.
  • In-app activity: fight picks, personal probability estimates you save for your own picks, leagues, and league-chat messages.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Push notification token (only when you enable notifications).
  • Basic diagnostic data aggregated by Apple through App Store Connect. No IP addresses or identifiers collected for tracking.

2.3 Information we do not collect

  • No real name, phone, address, or payment information.
  • No cross-app or cross-site tracking.
  • No third-party advertising networks or analytics SDKs.
  • No access to contacts, camera, microphone, location, photos library (beyond the system image picker for avatars), or HealthKit.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to authenticate you, show your profile to yourself and appropriate other users, power core features (picks, leaderboards, league chat, companion progression), deliver push notifications you opted into, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable law.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising.

4. How information is shared

  • With other users, by your choice. Username, display name, avatar, belt rank, and aggregate stats are visible on public leaderboards and inside leagues you join. Picks become visible to other league members only after the event's lock time. Email, password, and push token are never shared.
  • With service providers. Supabase (database/auth/backend functions), Google (sign-in flow), Apple (push notifications).
  • If required by law. Subpoena, court order, safety, or fraud prevention.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data while your account is active. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, picks, personal probability estimates, league memberships, league messages, and push token. Anonymized aggregates may be retained. Backups are overwritten on a rolling 30-day window.

6. Security

TLS/HTTPS for all traffic, Supabase row-level security on every table, SECURITY DEFINER stored procedures that validate caller identity, publishable-key-only client access. No system is perfectly secure. We will notify you of any breach affecting your data consistent with applicable law.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Access / correction: Profile tab → Edit Profile.
  • Notification preferences: Profile → Settings → Notifications.
  • Account deletion: Profile → Settings → Delete Account, type DELETE, confirm. Permanent.
  • Email: support@fightiq.app at any time.

If you are in the EEA, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with comprehensive privacy laws, you have the rights those laws provide (access, correction, deletion, portability, right to lodge a complaint). We honor all such requests regardless of where you live.

8. Children

Fight IQ is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The App includes a play-money Bet Simulator (no real money, no prizes) and displays odds and implied probabilities, content the App Store age rating reflects.

9. International transfers

Servers located in the United States. If you access Fight IQ from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

10. Changes to this Policy

Material changes will be notified in-app and the "Effective date" updated. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
