Fight IQ Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Fight IQ is an iOS application that lets users make predictions on professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fights, compete in private leagues, track accuracy-based statistics, and earn in-app points and cosmetic rewards. Fight IQ is not a real-money gambling service. No wagers, purchases, or prizes of monetary value are offered.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

• Account data: email address, display name, and password (email signup). With Sign in with Apple, we receive your name (if you share it the first time you sign in) and an email address, which may be an Apple private relay address if you choose Hide My Email. With Google sign-in, we receive the name, email address, and basic profile information on your Google account.
• Profile data: username, display name, optional bio, optional profile photo you upload, and belt rank. Your username, display name, profile photo, and belt rank are visible to other users. If you create a league, its name and any avatar image you upload for it are shown with the league. Uploaded images are kept in publicly readable storage, so anyone with an image's link can view it.
• In-app activity: fight picks, leagues you create or join, people you follow, and blocks and reports you make.
• Chat messages: messages you post in live event chat (shown with your display name) or in league chat. Live chat messages are visible to other signed-in users in that chat, and league messages to that league's members. Messages can be reported, may be hidden automatically after reports, and can be removed by us. When you block someone, messages between the two of you are hidden from each other.
• Bet Simulator data: your simulated tickets, your fictional game balance and its transaction ledger, your monthly results, and the Ladder standings and stats calculated from them. The Bet Simulator collects no payment or financial information, and the balance has no cash value. Once you have a settled bet in a month, your username, display name, simulated profit, amount wagered, win-loss record, and settled tickets for that month are visible to other signed-in users on the Ladder.
• Value Finder estimates: if you use Value Finder, the confidence you set for a fight (a percentage from 5 to 95 for the fighter you picked) is saved privately to your account. It is not shown to other users.
• Feedback: if you send feedback from the app, we receive your message and the category you choose and, unless you switch diagnostics off before sending, your app version and build, iOS version, device type (for example, iPhone), the area of the app you were in, and whether notifications are allowed. Feedback is linked to your account and is readable only by us.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Push notification token (only when you allow notifications), saved to your account with your Fight IQ Alerts on or off setting, and cleared from your account when you sign out.
• Basic diagnostic data aggregated by Apple through App Store Connect. No IP addresses or identifiers collected for tracking.

2.3 Information we do not collect

• No phone number, postal address, or payment or financial information.
• No cross-app or cross-site tracking.
• No third-party advertising networks or analytics SDKs.
• No access to contacts, camera, microphone, location, photos library (beyond picking a profile photo or league avatar, and saving share cards you choose to save), or HealthKit.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to authenticate you, show your profile to yourself and appropriate other users, power core features (picks, leaderboards, leagues, live and league chat, the Bet Simulator and its Ladder, Value Finder, companion progression), deliver push notifications you opted into, read and answer feedback you send, moderate chat and prevent abuse, and comply with applicable law.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising.

4. How information is shared

• With other users, by your choice. Username, display name, profile photo, belt rank, and aggregate stats are visible on public leaderboards and inside leagues you join. Picks become visible to other league members only after the event's lock time. Chat messages and Ladder standings are visible as described in section 2.1. Email, password, push token, Value Finder estimates, and feedback are never shown to other users.
• With service providers. Supabase (database/auth/backend functions), Google (sign-in flow), Apple (Sign in with Apple and push notifications).
• If required by law. Subpoena, court order, safety, or fraud prevention.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data while your account is active. Deleting your account permanently removes your sign-in account and profile; your picks and scores; your companion, collectible, and honors progress; your Bet Simulator tickets, game balance, balance ledger, and monthly results; your Value Finder estimates; leagues you created (with their members and messages); your league memberships and league messages; your live chat messages and reactions; your follows and blocks; reports you filed; feedback you sent; and your push token and notification setting. Copies of chat messages hidden by moderation are kept for up to 30 days for safety review. Profile photos and league images you uploaded are not yet removed automatically when you delete your account; email kyle@fightiq.gg and we will remove them. Anonymized aggregates may be retained. Backups are overwritten on a rolling 30-day window.

6. Security

TLS/HTTPS for all traffic, Supabase row-level security on every table, SECURITY DEFINER stored procedures that validate caller identity, publishable-key-only client access. No system is perfectly secure. We will notify you of any breach affecting your data consistent with applicable law.

7. Your choices and rights

• Access / correction: Profile tab → Edit Profile.
• Notification preferences: Profile → Settings → Notifications.
• Account deletion: Profile → Settings → Delete Account, type DELETE, confirm. Permanent.

If you are in the EEA, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with comprehensive privacy laws, you have the rights those laws provide (access, correction, deletion, portability, right to lodge a complaint). We honor all such requests regardless of where you live.

8. Children

Fight IQ is for users 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The App includes a play-money Bet Simulator (no real money, no prizes) and displays odds and implied probabilities, which is why it is rated 18+ on the App Store.

9. International transfers

Servers located in the United States. If you access Fight IQ from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

10. Changes to this Policy

Material changes will be notified in-app and the "Effective date" updated. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
